More about Jen
Jen Gurecki is an unapologetic, fearless business leader and founder dedicated to elevating people and ideas that challenge the status quo. She got her start tuning skis and fitting boots at Arizona Snowbowl, spent nearly a decade as an outdoor educator working with young people, and then—almost on a whim—launched Coalition, the world’s only women-owned and operated ski and snowboard manufacturer.
She holds a master’s degree from Prescott College and famously dropped out of their PhD program when she realized entrepreneurship—not academia—was her true path. Her work has been featured in Outside, Huck, Red Bull, and Entrepreneur Magazine, where she was named one of the 50 Most Daring Entrepreneurs.
Each summer, she travels to Kenya to work with Zawadisha, the social enterprise she founded to provide small loans that support rural Kenyan women’s livelihoods. And now, as she approaches 50, she’s fully leaning into seeing just how far she can push that Older Woman energy.
